How to copy an Error Message

Have you ever seen one of these?

Then you find yourself writing down the information to tell someone else what it said. Many of the error messages are so complex that it is next to impossible to write it all down.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to just print it? Well you can. Error messages can be copied to a wordprocessor document in order to save or print it. The procedure is a special application of Copy and Paste.

Here is the procedure:

When the error message is displayed, immediately hold down the Alt key and touch Print Screen. Then open your word processor (Word or Works) and do a paste using the Edit menu or the keyboard (Ctrl V).
