Boo Boos made
on the keyboard or Be Careful What You Type -
You might get it.
Have
you been typing away and all of a sudden something goes screwy? Here's
an example:
Open
your wordprocessor. Start typing a new document. Accidentally (on
purpose) hold the Ctrl key (As if touching the Shift key) and touch
the P key. You will get the Print dialog box. That one's pretty obvious.
Here's one that is not so obvious:
Touch
Alt (as if hitting the space bar) then i and then u. Your screen will
go to full screen. If you are not familiar with this action of Word,
it could be very confusing.
There
are many errors made easily by touching the alternate function keys
instead of the normal keys. The Crtl key is close to the Shift key.
The Alt key is close to the Shift key on both left and right sides.
This makes for easy mistakes.
If
you notice all Windows programs have underlined letters in the menus.
These are the keys that activate that command. Touching Alt takes
you into the menus and any typing after that affects menu items.
