As I understand
it, this list represents a very serious flaw in our laws. If you dial
any of the area codes listed in RED,
the recipient can put you on hold while charging you $400 per minute.
Sounds illegal? Apparently the US government has no ability to control
price as they do with our regular area codes. The real kicker ...
YOU ARE LEGALLY OBLIGATED TO PAY ANY CHARGES
INCURRED!!!!!
If anyone has information and proof to the contrary,
please let me know.
